Hillcrest Outdoor Classroom
Outdoor classrooms offer a unique learning experience for children. This plein-air pavilion designed for Hillcrest Elementary School allows teachers to lead classes in a space that literally immerses children in nature. The heavy timber structure was designed using Ikea-like connectors for a simple nut-and-bolt assembly by a small team of fabricators.
