A.D. Rundle Middle School Addition

The expansion of A.D. Rundle Middle School in Chilliwack adds 12 new classrooms to accommodate the district's growing student population. Designed around the school's collaborative approach to teaching, the addition introduces a flexible classroom arrangement in which four classrooms are organized around a shared breakout space. Retractable partitions between paired classrooms allow spaces to open into larger learning environments, supporting a range of teaching formats and group activities. Prefabricated construction methods were incorporated to streamline delivery while providing additional capacity within the existing school grounds. The project is designed to meet LEED Gold standards.
