VGH – City Square Academic Space

TAD Worked with the Fraser Health Authority for a variety of academic and administrative programs run by VCHA and the UBC Faculty of Medicine. TAD was the Prime Consultant for this 19,760 square feet tenant improvement at City Square Mall’s 2nd Floor which required near complete demolition of the existing commercial spaces to accommodate 80 staff members, including work, meeting, teaching and support spaces. 

An open space design approach was retained with collaborative workstations, and enclosed spaces for private offices, exam rooms, and common facilities. Important modifications were undertaken for the HVAC and electrical systems, building automation system, security, and seismic upgrade.
